Event Recap: illScarlett Plays Open Mic Night!

illScarlett played Metalworks Institute Open Mic last night at Square One Boston Pizza! Both the bar and dining area of the venue reached capacity by 8:30pm with a line-up outside. Metalworks Institute students volunteered to work the audio and lighting for the entire night including the illScarlett set! illScarlett tested out their new material to a packed audience filled with Metalworks Institute students, alumni and staff. The evening also including performances by Metalworks Students, Andy Morrish and Matt Campbell as well as performances from grads Justin Idems and Filip Smialek.

Students Work Southside Shuffle

Mississauga’s annual blues and jazz festival, Southside Shuffle, once again took over Port Credit’s Memorial Park, September 9th through 11th.
