Make Music MatterThe My Song for Change talent contest is well under way.  Make Music Matter and Western Union Canada have given young people the chance to have their music heard and to shed light on global issues and the pressures youth face. The talent contest encourages musical self-expression as music has the powerful ability to heal, connect, transform, and enrich lives.

Entries are in the form of any style from rap to classical to country and everything in between. Contestants could submit their powerful lyrics in written format, a recorded track or both!

Vote for your favourite entry today! Online voting will end on July 25th at which point judges Darcy Ataman founder of Make Music Matter, David Bottrill multi-platinum-selling music producer, Sam Roberts of Sam Roberts Band and Joycelyn David of Western Union Canada will select the final winner. The winner will be announced on August 15th 2014. The winning song will be developed into a music video and professionally recorded and produced with Sam Roberts!
