Metalworks Institute Music Performance & Technology Students 2018 Show

Music Performance & Technology End-of-Term Concert

Second-year students in the Music Performance & Technology Diploma Program put on a fantastic end-of-term concert. For this project, students collaborated to arrange and perform a series of covers, including an acapella version of Lorde’s Royals.

This collaborative ensemble project is an opportunity for students to put everything they’ve learned into practice, and it gives faculty, friends, family, and the Metalworks community a chance to see each artist’s progress. Congratulations to all the students on a very successful show!

Special thanks to students in the Stage Lighting & Video, Live Sound, Live Event & Concert Production, and Professional Sound (Audio Specialist) Diploma Programs for doing a great job with the lights and audio!

Designed for Musicians, our Music Performance & Technology Program is built on a unique concept: To offer the complete range of industry knowledge required to take the art of performance to a professional level. With flexibility and space for personal style, students learn to perfect their business and music performance skills as they master the technologies and computer applications related to their principal instrument.
