Guest Lecture: WaveDNA and Liquid Rhythm
On Wednesday May 14th 2014, representatives from Toronto based software developers WaveDNA came out for a guest lecture providing students with a full product demonstration of their critically acclaimed beat creation software Liquid Rhythm. WaveDNA is a Toronto-based music software development company with the goal of designing and building the next generation of innovative virtual instruments. Their first software release is Liquid Rhythm: A powerful MIDI sequencer and beat generator that was recently included in AskAudioMag’s Top Ten Plug-Ins for 2013.
With the help of Ableton certified instructor DJ Shine (aka Jason Spanu) whose credits include Frank Ocean, Nelly Furtado and Drake, our students were shown why Liquid Rhythm has been referred to as “the future of rhythm programming” and “the most innovative and cool rhythmic generator” in recent magazine product reviews.
