Student News: Sarah Dee Nominated for Artist of the Year at the 2014 IMEA Awards

Music Performance and Technology -Vocal Major student Sarah Saccomanno aka ‘Sarah Dee’ has been nominated for Artist of the Year at the 2014 International Music and Entertainment Association’s “IMEA Awards” taking place on October 4th in Ashland, Kentucky. Sarah is the only Canadian and the only female in her award category, and is very excited to be representing Metalworks, and Canadian independent female musicians at the award ceremony.

The mission of the IMEA Awards is to honour and recognize individuals and organizations in the music, theatre, and film industries, internationally. The International Music and Entertainment Association and IMEA Awards are focused on one objective, the development of the performing arts industry worldwide and encouraging the pursuit of personal and professional growth and excellence within the industries.
