Student News: Mississauga Water Front Festival

June 14th through to June 16th, our live production students volunteered at the 2013 Mississauga Waterfront Festival! “The festival attracts visitors from Mississauga, the GTA, many parts of Ontario, and U.S border cities to a current average of 50,000 festival goers. The Mississauga Waterfront Festival partners with local charitable and not-for-profit organizations and provides donations that help these organizations with their outreach programs. The Festival has presented over 600 performers annually that include artists such as; Sam Roberts, Jann Arden, Tom Cochrane, Bedouin Soundclash and more!”

With a range of volunteer opportunities and multiple performance stages, our production students were able to assist within a variety of areas that included; planning and coordinating, audio, lighting, and stage set ups.
