Student News: Around the World in One Night

On Friday November 15th 2013, our Show Production and Event Management students hosted their all ages event; Around the World in One Night! With a variety of musical performances, the students were in charge of all aspects of the event which included; obtaining sponsors, marketing, securing artists, stage set up, audio, lighting, and more! With a great turnout, the night was a huge success and all proceeds went to the Unison Benevolent Fund “counselling, emergency relief and benefit programs for the Canadian music community”. Those attending the event had the opportunity to win Door and raffle prizes from Sony Music, Dine Alone Records, Metalworks Studios and many more!
