Metalworks Institute of Sound and Music Production is pleased to announce its recent authorization to become Digidesign's first Pro School partner for Eastern Canada. Metalworks will be offering all levels of the Digidesign-authorized courses, from Pro Tools 101 to Pro Tools 310M and 310P. Students will learn Pro Tools and ICON, with the ability to achieve official Pro Tools certification. Students will also have the opportunity to learn on one of the largest ICON systems in the world featuring an 80-fader D-Control Console and full-blown Pro Tools|HD Accel system.
Digidesign Certification Exams Certification Paths
In order to become a Pro Tools certified user, you must complete Pro Tools coursework at a Pro School and then pass one of Digidesign's Certification Exams
There are 4 Certification Exams
Pro Tools Operator and Pro Tools Expert in both Music and Post
What you need to know:
- You must take all 4 exams to become certified in each specialization
- You cannot take an exam without having completed the coursework from the Pro School
- Once you have successfully completed the coursework, you will receive a password to login to Digidesign.com and take your exam
- There is a fee for the exam
- The exam is timed and includes 50 questions, in multiple choice format
- You must score 90% or higher to pass an exam
- Pro Tools Expert Certification has three sections - Online, Hands-on Keyboard Shortcuts and Timed Project
- You must achieve 90% or higher to pass each exam section
