Our Audio Production & Engineering Program encompasses fundamental and advanced audio theory as well as production skill-sets required in the recording industry, the film and television post production industry, and today's high-tech audio environment. The vast experience of Metalworks Studios has infused this curriculum with a wealth of in-depth knowledge, derived from real-world success, resulting in a program designed to optimize your future opportunities in the recording industry.
Classes include topics such as: Recording Engineering, Live
Sound, Radio Broadcast, Television Broadcast, Mixing, Mastering, Production,
Sound Design, Internet Audio, Post-Audio for Film & TV, Foley
Recording/Editing, Dialogue Editing, Music Editing Sound Effects Editing, and Game
Audio.
Our comprehensive learning environment will provide intensive practical
experience in an array of diverse audio settings. Our labs and studios are
equipped with SSL & Digidesign ICON consoles, Pro Tools HD 3 systems, all
running the latest versions of industry standard software. The one-year program
is divided into three terms of fourteen weeks each, and provides the student
with over 1000 hours of instruction and preparation.
