Metalworks welcomes Tony Ferrante to the team

Tony Ferrante

Multi-Media Manager
Metalworks Studios

Tony Ferrante began his career in multi-media at Rogers Cable Network as a Video Editor and Camera Operator where he filmed local events, programmed shows and broadcasted scheduled programs.

After fours years at Rogers Cable Network, Tony decided to dedicate himself to his real passion of music. He spent the next four years as a self employed full-time musician. During this period he toured around Canada as a keyboardist for two professional bands under the management of the Talent Group and The Agency. While following his talents as a musician he played in back-up bands for acts such as Trooper, Kim Mitchell, Head Pins and Herman’s Hermits.

In 1987, Tony was presented with a new opportunity to work for Northern Group Ltd that he could not pass up. For twenty-one years Tony worked his way up in the company from Logistics Supervisor to Multi-Media Developer. His responsibilities at Northern Reflections Ltd included managing inbound and outbound logistics of a distribution centre; creating graphics to support corporate initiatives and event; managing the in-store music and digital signage narrowcasting program; providing multi-media services (video, sound, lighting and projections); and producing internal training videos.

Currently, Tony is the latest member of Metalworks Studios, working in conjunction with Metalworks Production Group and Metalworks Institute. His position as Multi-Media Manager allows him to fuse both his passions for music and audio/visual multi-media. While working for Metalworks, Tony will be in charge of client and corporate video editing; managing all media aspects of corporate events; creating large-scale multi-media presentations; providing content for all of the Metalworks’ websites with new creative motion features and innovative graphic enhancements; creating marketing tools for our internal promotional programs; and filming content for clients as well as the Metalworks family of companies own marketing initiatives.
