Awesome Alliance Presents Metalworks Summerfest

The Awesome Alliance, a student group from Metalworks Institute, is presenting Metalworks Summerfest, BBQ and Open House on Sunday, August 16th, between noon and 5 p.m. The event will feature live music, food, and fun for all ages, and admission is free.

The event will feature continuous entertainment on multiple stages, both indoor and outdoor (weather permitting), and raffle-prize draws at 1:30, 3 and 4 p.m., with thousands of dollars in prizes up for grabs.

The day will also feature a silent auction, with many one-of-a-kind items, visual arts displays, studio tours, a coffee bar, and much more.

All proceeds from the event will go to Friends of We Care (www.friendsofwecare.org) a charitable organization created by the food service industry, which helps send hundreds of physically disabled children to summer camps each year.
