Symphony of Sound, based out of Hamilton, Ontario was pleased to announce the second annual North Rocks the Bay Festival. Last year’s highly successful event, featured Blue Rodeo, Colin James & Hedley, drew record crowds to the Waterfront and also received critical acclaim from city officials and fans alike.

This year the festival took place on July 31st to August 2nd on the waterfront in North Bay. Headlining acts included Simple Plan, Sam Roberts Band, and The Tragically Hip. With supporting acts such as Arkells, Skydiggers, Attack in Black, The New Cities & Stereos, this was one of the must-see festivals of the season.

Marc Giapessi, a Sound Engineer for Metalworks Production Group was there to erect the V-DOSC system for the main stage. It was a thrill for MPG’s staff members to be among the thousands of fans and local members of the community at the North Rocks the Bay Festival. This was a great way to kick off the last leg of summer tours.
