Guest Lecture: Trey Mills
On October 28th, Paul Sanderson’s Entertainment Agreements & Contracts class enjoyed a guest lecture from singer/songwriter/producer Trey Mills.
Mills has quietly risen to the upper reaches of the music industry in the past few years, with writing, production and mixing credits on numerous top 30 hits, and mastering credits with the likes of Michael Jackson, Boyz II Men and Pat Metheny. He has also received numerous nominations and awards in categories ranging from R&B, to soul, to classical. Most recently, Trey has enjoyed critical acclaim for his latest album release, Athabasca (OP3/Universal), featuring the lead single, Saving Me.
Trey spoke with the Entertainment Agreements & Contracts class about his experiences in the music business, and some of the business and legal particulars he has dealt with as a songwriter and producer.
Metalworks Institute would like to thank Trey Mills for giving his valuable time to our students.
