Metalworks Studios Featured in Yahoo! Canada Auto-Tune Piece

Yahoo! Music Canada recently featured a piece on Auto-Tune featuring Metalworks Studios and Metalworks Instructor, Elliott Sairan. Parts of the video were filmed in Studio 1, Studio 6, and the Studio lounge.

In the video, Elliott Sairan discusses the history of Auto Tune, and the prevalence of Auto Tune in music today. In the video, Elliott explains that Auto Tune “was discovered maybe by accident. Cher used it on a song called “Believe” and they decided to push it beyond what it was designed for by creating this robotic version of the chorus.”
