Paul Gross announces Kevin Dietz as Metalworks Studios’ new head engineer

Paul Gross, Studio Manager of Metalworks Studios, announces the appointment of Kevin Dietz as Head Engineer.

Dietz has been involved with Metalworks for several years. After graduating from the Audio Production & Engineering program in 2006, he was given the rare opportunity to intern at Metalworks Studios. It was not long before his skill, hard work and determination earned him a full-time position as a house engineer in the world-renowned, six-studio facility.

“It’s been an amazing opportunity to work at Metalworks Studios. I’ve been fortunate to work alongside some of the very best producers and engineers in the industry, and learn from their experience, technical, and artistic skills.”, he says.

Working with such talent has allowed Dietz to expand his knowledge of the art of recording and hone his skills. He has had the first-hand opportunity to work on high profile studio projects like Placebo, Alexisonfire, Billy Talent, Circa Survive and Protest the Hero and the years of experience since his graduation have allowed him to increasingly achieve excellence in his work.

As Head Engineer, Dietz will play an integral part in Metalworks Studios’ projects. He will be the first call for recording and mixing the studio’s top clients and will continue to work with a wide range of prestigious acts.
