She has shared the stage with luminaries John McDermott, Quartetto Gelato, Steven Page, Mike Murley, and international sensation Paul Potts ranging in styles from jazz to classical, choral to solo. These experiences along with Anna’s international touring in Austria, Italy and France as a performer and competitor has given her great insight into the passion, fear and joy of live performance.

Anna Mastin has also spent much time “behind-the-scenes” working as the Studio Manager for more than 6 years for the thriving Big Voice Studios in downtown Toronto, working alongside celebrity vocal coach Elaine Overholt. The many years spent working on “the other side” of the music, TV and movie industry in Canada broadened Anna’s perspective of the business side of the arts, and fed her approach to singing, and vocal coaching, in countless ways.
In her private lessons Anna Mastin works passionately to help each singer delve deeply into the art, craft and business of singing. She teaches classes and workshops at the elementary, high school and college level and has been giving private piano and voice instruction from her home studio in Toronto since 2002.
In addition to her time teaching at Metalworks Institute, Anna also coaches at Elaine Overholt’s Big Voice Studios and from her own studio, Red Door Studios.
