If you are a talented band/artist, this is an opportunity you don’t want to miss; to come in and record two of your songs here at Metalworks Studios for free.

There are a few requirements for those who want to take advantage of this once in a lifetime opportunity which starts accepting entries on May 26th 2010 and closes July 19th 2010::

1) Entrants must reside within a radius of 100km from Metalworks Institute located at 3611 Mavis Rd, Mississauga, L5C-1T7;

2) You must be able to transport yourself and your equipment to Metalworks Institute, and;

3) You must be able to record days or evenings. 

Let us break it down for you: the lucky winner will have two songs recorded and mixed by the students in the Audio Production & Engineering program at Metalworks Studios, supervised by top industry professionals.

The winner will be selected by a student committee, notified by email, and their name will be posted on the Metalworks Institute website. 

After the project is completed, the recorded masters will be returned to the band/artist for free, for them to use in any way they wish.   There’s only one more question you need to answer: “What have you got to lose?”

Contest is open to bands or single artists who have a permanent band.

Contest is not open to employees or students of Metalworks Studios /Metalworks Institute / Metalworks Productions or their immediate families.Don’t forget submissions will only be accepted between May 26th 2010 and July 19th 2010::
