Congratulations to Shaddy Roman and Erik Sist on receiving the 2016 Mississauga Waterfront Festival Scholarship!

The Mississauga Waterfront Festival provides annual scholarships to two deserving students who aspire to excel within the live events sector of the entertainment industry. Currently the award entitles each recipient to receive a $2,000 scholarship upon the successful completion of the one year Show Production and Event Management program at Metalworks Institute.

The scholarships were presented to Shaddy and Erik at the Mississauga Waterfront Festival on Friday, June 17th by Metalworks institute’s Director of Student & Alumni Services, Candice Mohacsi. Metalworks Founder & CEO, Gil Moore, Mississauga Waterfront Festival Chair, Pat Anderson, Former Mississauga Mayor, Mme. Hazel McCallion and Minister of Finance, Charles Sousa were also in attendance.
