Alumni Update: Taylor Herperger, Professional Sound and Business – Live Production Major

We congratulate Taylor Herperger on her new role with Warner Music Canada as National Promotions Coordinator!  Shortly after graduating from the two year Professional Sound and Business – Live Production Major Program in 2012, Taylor began a Music Publishing internship with Warner. She quickly found herself hired to the team as an Office Administrator and is now busy fulfilling the many duties of her new role as National Promotions Coordinator.

Taylor assists the vice president, radio promotions and regional promotions team. She tracks and distributes radio charts and information as well as uploads and delivers radio singles/albums to stations via DMDS. She works closely with the marketing team, third party labels and international counterparts to strategize, write radio press releases, collect stats and metadata, and secure proper audio and visual elements. She is in regular communication with Mediabase and BDS to ensure proper detection of radio spins and chart peaks.

Taylor also acts as the point person for radio stations looking for music, song edits, timelines and general information. She keeps track of all Warner and third party radio releases, schedules and plans.

On a more administrative level, Taylor keeps track of the promotion budget and all promotional spends. She helps coordinate radio promotions, contests/giveaways, and artist radio liners. She works with the promotions team and outside companies to coordinate travel arrangements and details for contest winners and personnel. Additionally she coordinates Warner’s involvement with events such as the JUNO Awards, CCMAs, CMW and NXNE.
